Compatible with sand and filter balls, this filter pump is a great option for keeping pools and spas clean without additives or chemicals. The filter pump is based on a natural filtration system: water is pumped into a tank containing silica sand that absorbs impurities and particles to produce clean water. The pre-filter filter basket is an additional mechanism that filters to trap larger particles such as leaves, hair and dirt. It also protects the pump impeller and helps the pump continually run more smoothly. This filter pump features a 7-way valve, which can be set to different settings to filter pool water, shut off (stop water flow), backwash (to clean sand bed), rinse (for start-up cleaning and leveling the sand bed), draining pool water, circulating pool water, and overwintering for off-season storage. Thanks to the reinforced plastic housing, this pool filter pump ensures all-weather performance, offering a long-term service life. The built-in timer allows you to set an automated work period. It is suitable for above-ground pools, such as those of the Intex and Bestway brands. Please note: Sand balls or filter are not included in the delivery.
