TIPS AND TRICKS The fire bow is only baked once and needs to harden further, please use the product carefully the first few times: Before use, cover the bottom of the fireplace with sand. Do not overload the fire bowl with fuel. Do not let the fire become too heavy and do not use this product as an oven. The use of a protective cover (available separately) is recommended because a wet ceramic chimney can crack in hot weather.
