This innovative pond pump, the Smartmax 2500FI model by the Ubbink brand, has been developed for use in combination with a pond filter, but can also be used in a water feature installation. It has a high capacity with low energy consumption and is suitable for slightly contaminated water. The filter pump is equipped with a powerful, reliable, and energy-efficient motor with a ceramic shaft. It can handle particles up to 6 mm in size. The power consumption of the Smartmax 2500FI is considerably lower and similar to pond pumps with asynchronous motors.
